FREE SSLC TUTORIALS 2007-08

Introduction
When an economically weak student fails in SSLC his/her fate is sealed and the chances of being mislead into perverted activities are enhanced. The rate of failures in SSLC is very high. To address this problem, as in the last year (2006-07) MRVTI is organizing Free SSLC tutorials under the project Parivarthan. These tutorials are conducted in 8 government schools around Bangalore.
Project Details
Schools covered are:
- Krishna Raja Puram
- ITI Vidhya Mandir
- Devasandra
- Hoody
- Garudacharapallya
- B. Narayana Pura
- Bidarahalli
- Sir M. V. School

Total students attending this program: 1000

As part of this program, tutorials are conducted every sunday morning (9am - 1pm) by dedicated teachers of the same school. This program was started on 16th December 2007 and will conclude on 23rd March 2008. Subjects covered are Maths, English, Hindi, Kanada, General Science and Social Science.

To motivate students, Parivarthan provides hot badam milk and glucose biscuits to each of 1000 students.

To motivate teachers, Parivarthan pays them Rs 100 per hour.

MRVTI is doing a great job is addressing the vocational needs of those unsuccessful in SSLC thus increasing their employability and self confidence.

Its very innovative and appriciateable, students really needs support and confidence from the home, school and the society . To excel in their studies and over all performance in life.
Parivarthana programme is extremely good , I hope i get permission from the programme heads to admit my daughter who is an private school candidate of SSLC now. I really dont mind attending classes myself. It would be a great opportunity to attend classes taken by these great scholars.
